Welcome to Toys For Girls & Boys!

Toys for Girls & Boys is an organization that was started to help Girls & Boys get Toys for Christmas in the Shenandoah, Iowa area. Toys for Girls & Boys was started by Doug Meyer Chevrolet and Shenandoah Elks Lodge #1122 in October of 2014. All toys are disbursed at the Shenandoah Elks Lodge before Christmas.

It was the idea of the organization to let the parents pick out a toy for their child, and to have someone from the Elks wrap it for them. This way the child woke up Christmas morning thinking he or she got a gift from Santa Claus. The goal was to have more children believe in the magic and joy of Christmas. In the organization's first year it helped 224 children in the area have a better Christmas. Toys for Girls & Boys was lucky enough to provide these children with two toys each. 

All of this could not be done with out the support of the community that came together through giving to help these children have a better Christmas. We thank everyone for their support.
